Title: Center Director (Daycare Child Care)
Location: Friendswood, TX
Job Type: Full Time
Salary: $45,000 to $55,000 (Contingent upon Experience and Education)
Additional Director Responsibilities:
Financial Management: Maintain accurate accounting of center tuition on a daily/weekly basis, generating reports as per company guidelines.
Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with parents, staff, and administration to facilitate students' developmental goals and ensure excellent customer service.
Staff Supervision: Assist in recruiting, hiring, and supervising staff, including administrators, teachers, and support staff.
Compliance and Regulations: Uphold state training requirements and ensure compliance with state licensing rules and regulations.
Community Engagement: Market the program in the community, collaborate with local organizations, and engage with community officials.
Transportation: Safely drive a multi-function bus/van as needed.
Flexibility: Function in any capacity needed within the childcare facility.
- Successful completion of criminal and fingerprint background checks.
- Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
- Two to five years of experience in a licensed childcare facility.
- Meet all state qualifications for classroom teaching positions.
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office and ProCare.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Problem-solving ability and sound knowledge of current state and local regulations.
- Possess a valid driver's license and can transport children in a company bus.
- Ability to see, hear, and react to emergencies within 50 feet in 15 seconds or less.
- Must stand on feet, bend, stoop, and squat throughout the day.
- Minimum age requirement of 21 years.
- Certification: Director certification is required.
- Highly preferred: Two or more years of center assistant leadership/management experience.
- Required: At least one year of center assistant leadership/management experience.
- Highly preferred: Bachelor's degree in ECE or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of state licensing rules and regulations.
- Highly preferred: CPR and First Aid Certification.
- Must meet state-specific guidelines.
