DXC Technology is looking to hire IT Professional graduates who are interested in supporting the IBM zTPF environment in multiple potential phases (Operator, Coverage, Database, Communications, Development, Automation, Test Systems). Chosen candidates will be administered a TPF Mainframe overview class providing insight and knowledge base for a career. Job duties include supporting delivering critical data to our National Travel and Transportation clients. The ideal candidates would be involved with the console monitoring, change management, incident/problem management, software design/maintenance, communication management, development platform creation/maintenance, automation (Augmented Intelligence, realtime graphical interfaces, auto submission of jobs/utilities), and test system management. Candidates should be able to apply professional services learned and gained through education and on the job training. Essential IT Skills/Qualifications: -Working knowledge of relevant Operating Systems, Software, and programming (including, but not limited to) the following: Python JavaScript API Mainframe Assembler a plus Java C # / C HTML -Completion of software development courses and aptitude in the following: Coding languages Database structure/knowledge Source control Testing procedures Debugging knowledge Basic Qualifications: -High School Diploma with 3-6 years of related IT technical work experience. -University technical degree in Information Technology related field preferred. -Excellent communication skills, ability to multi-task, and work under pressure. -A keen attention to detail with good organization, time management and prioritization details. -Ability to follow documented processes and procedures, to guarantee the uninterrupted delivery of service, performance, and availability of multiple Transaction Processing Facility (TPF) environments. -Efficient troubleshooting abilities, along with communication skills, including speaking, writing and active listening and note taking. Work Environment: -This role is available in both Remote and On-Site environments in New Orleans, LA or Tulsa, OK. -Ability to work nights, weekends, holidays, or rotating shift schedules, as part of a 24/7 year-round support organization.
