Job Posting for Omnichannel Analyst, Retail Systems at DY
Overview
As the Omnichannel Analyst, you will play a key role in not only delivering solutions on an expansive roadmap, but also impacting on driving the business forward. This role will require technical application skills, project management, clienteling and an understanding of retail POS (Point-of-Sale) systems, with a strong preference for anyone with experience in KWI. The role includes exposure to both the front and back end of retail systems. This is a key position in developing, improving, and supporting retail store applications, it’s enhancement in usage and integration with other key systems at David Yurman.
Responsibilities
Implementation, administration, and support of retail applications platform. Manage new development, updates, testing, and user rights.
Assist in planning and execution of New Store Openings
Support review of the current retail applications landscape and data interfaces,
Handle application upgrade cycle including release management, and end user testing
Support retail, corporate, and special sale retail operations (POS and payment system)
Work with IT colleagues on retail applications support, upgrades, and enhancements
Research new application solutions within the retail application landscape to address business problems and propose solutions
Transfer skills as warranted to Help Desk staff for support purposes
Lead interactions with business users, workstream leads, department management, project steering committees, and external teams to influence decisions that lead to the right solutions.
Drive conversations and partner with users to completely understand user operations, anticipate needs and pursue efficient solutions through application configuration and deployment
Clarify functional and technical requirements. Develop functional and high-level technical specifications.
Develop and execute detailed system implementation plans.
Lead projects through all aspects of the development process, including design discussions and prioritization
Manage all aspects of assigned initiatives, including but not limited to project timelines, resource plans, cross-functional coordination, and budgets.
Lead resolution of production support problems in accordance with problem management and incident management policies and procedures
Qualifications
3-5 years’ experience (Retail preferred)
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or IT systems related fields
Knowledge of Windows, iOS, AirWatch, SSO Technologies, Web Services, API a plus
Experience in Omni Retailers for Omni Capabilities such as BOSS, Endless Isle, Store fulfilment.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills spanning business functions and applications
Strong project management experience
Ability to work as a team member as well as a independently
Strong organizational skills with ability to multi-task and prioritize appropriately
Ability to create clear, structured, and effective documentation
Analytical and structured thinking
Team mindset when problem solving
Enthusiasm for retail technologies and their applications
Willingness and openness to learn
Comfortable interacting, communicating, and presenting with/for business-facing teams
Keen attention to detail, ability to dive deep, and expert problem-solving skills
Ability to work in a fast paced, change driven environment while remaining professional and articulate.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, or IT systems related fields
