About You
We're seeking a result-focused, innovative, self-driven, and well-qualified individual to join our talented team as our Production Scheduler. Based out of our Torrington Connecticut location, you will provide outstanding customer-facing technical and repair support by diagnosing, troubleshooting, testing, and repairing Dymax curing and dispensing equipment, often by video feed remote diagnostics, occasionally interfacing in situ at customer premises. Also, by open, timely communication of issues, resolutions, and preventions to customers and stakeholders.

About You

Based out of our Torrington Connecticut location, you will provide outstanding customer-facing technical and repair support by diagnosing, troubleshooting, testing, and repairing Dymax curing and dispensing equipment, often by video feed remote diagnostics, occasionally interfacing in situ at customer premises. Also, by open, timely communication of issues, resolutions, and preventions to customers and stakeholders.
In addition, you will:
- Determine and isolate the cause of equipment failure by root cause analysis, developing corrective actions, and as necessary creating standard work instructions for the troubleshooting, diagnosing, and evaluating of equipment issues
- Optimize resolutions for equipment failure and preventative actions by conducting standardized repair and refurbishment of Dymax equipment, and making recommendations to the Company about how to best avoid future failures
- Provide exemplary, resolution-focused customer service by responding to inquiries and concerns promptly via, as appropriate, phone, email, via remote video feed and in-person at customer premises
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date documentation by tracking and recording all active cases of open issues, warranty claims, call logs, and service requests and resolutions within an equipment-repair database
- Share and develop departmental expertise and know-how by coordinating repair activities with departmental personnel, and by cross-training with production personnel to coordinate best practices. Also, by publishing reports of recently resolved cases and trends to internal stakeholders and recommending actions or escalations
- Support global Dymax repair centers and product development teams by drafting, perfecting, and sharing repair and user manuals, troubleshooting guides, and technical service bulletins (TSBs)
- Deliver outstanding operational efficiencies by closing out cases via verifying quality work standards with Quality Control, preparing repaired items for shipping, and communicating expected delivery dates to customers
You should have:
- Associates of Science degree in Electrical Engineering (ASEE) or equivalent experience
- 3 years of experience with diagnostics, repair, and troubleshooting electromechanical equipment.
- Must be able to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and procedures
- Must interface with customers and client companies frequently in a pleasant and engaging manner is essential
- Must be able to work in a production floor and lab settings
