JOB SUMMARY
As the Dymin Retail Store Manager, you are responsible to lead, inspire, and support the team of technicians and salespeople to grow and evolve the success of the company. You’ll work with our team to understand and influence the company vision, then research and implement ideas, strategies, and solutions to adapt and achieve the company goals.
You’ll ensure we’re providing stellar and on-time service, our solutions are accurate, and act as the liaison and customer’s interface to the products and services we provide. You’ll communicate and interact with our customers, keep them up to date, set their expectations, and ensure every customer’s experience is outstanding.
You’ll also maintain our product and service catalog, keeping our store stock with the products and services customers want, and ensuring they’re selling
WHAT YOU’RE ACCOUNTABLE FOR
- Grow and evolve the success of the retail store! Identify inefficiencies, offer ideas and solutions, and research and implement strategies to achieve the revenue and cost of goods goals for the Retail team.
- Lead, inspire, and support your team! Champion the company’s core values to ensure your team are becoming the best they can be.
- Ensure we’re providing stellar service! Verify our technicians’ work is accurate, that we’re providing the right solution, our work is properly documented, our policies and procedures were followed, and that our high standards of quality are met.
- Keep our customers up to date! Contact customers as soon as possible when a ticket is ready for an update, clearly set expectations, and ensure the customer understands what will happen, when, and how much it will cost.
- Ensure our 24-Hour Guarantee is met! Keep oversight of every ticket on our board, their status, effort required, and next steps. Coordinate technicians as necessary.
- Keep our customers happy! If we fall short of a customer’s expectations, take ownership and see it through to the end.
- Ensure we know our stuff and that we do it better! Keep up with current trends in technology. Research and implement better service and repair methodologies, new tools and software, and products that solve it better.
- Keep the bench full! Maximize the team’s output potential, coordinating additional indirect revenue tasks and projects as necessary to achieve utilization targets.
- Ensure our products and services are selling! Monitor inventory aging, how frequently products and services are selling, identify root causes, and adjust inventory replenishment levels appropriately to achieve inventory turn rate goals.
- Keep our store stocked with the products our customers want! Observe sales trends, talk with customers, collect feedback, research industry-best product and service solutions, and update our product catalog with appropriate products and services.
- Ensure accuracy of POS, CRM, and ERP data! Maintain close oversight of our software systems that manage our service tickets, invoices, customer profiles, inventory counts, and reporting data; ensuring our team are using the correct processes and procedures to keep this data accurate.
OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Place purchase orders (POs) for retail store restock, special orders, and repair parts.
- Ensure customer and vendor returns (RMA) are processed accurately, and the best method to recover costs from returned products
- Ensure biannual full-store inventory counts are performed and all catalog inventory counts are accurate
- Evaluate equipment for trade-in, determine the appropriate value, and provide team and customers with trade-in offers
- Monitor and report on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and metrics on company scorecards and dashboards
- Lead team meetings that identify, track, and solve team and company issues and to-dos
- Schedule team shifts, coordinate and approve Paid Time Off (PTO)
- Ensure the neatness and on-brand appearance of the store, your team, and work areas.
QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience with PC troubleshooting and repairing hardware and software problems
- Experience with retail sales and customer service
- A thorough understanding of essential PC operation and familiarity with current Windows and Mac operating systems
REQUIRED
Ability to type 60 words per minute.
REQUIRED LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license
- CompTIA A or TestOut PC Pro Certification required within 1 year of employment
