Location: Onalaska, WI – Building A

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm

Salary: $17.75- $21.50/hour; a robust benefits package including 3 weeks of paid vacation and 8 paid holidays in the first year. Merit increase eligible twice annually and no nights or weekends!

Purpose & Summary: The Forklift Operator is a critical part of our production team. This Forklift Operator will deliver essential material to our production team members. They will also help to manage the organization of material within the warehouse/ While the Forklift Operator performs a variety of warehouse tasks, basic Day-to-day responsibilities may include:

• Operating a forklift
• Sorting warehouse materials
• Maintaining forklifts
• Cleaning the warehouse
• Weighing material

Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent required combined with a minimum of one year of warehouse experience required. Previous forklift experience of 6 months is preferred.

Knowledge:

• Knowledge of gas and electric forklift operations.
• Knowledge of standard concepts and procedures of a warehouse.

Skills:

• Basic computer skills.
• Strong work ethic.

Abilities:

• Ability to lift 50 pounds on a regular basis.
• Ability to understand warehouse responsibilities.
• Ability to enter account information and complete reports in a computer system.
• Ability to maintain a safe working environment.

Preferred Qualifications: Forklift and/or pallet jack experience. Attention to detail and high awareness of safety practices with forklift and warehouse. Maintenance or light maintenance knowledge.
