What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pest Control Technician position at Dynamic Pest Control, Inc.?
Pest control workers are responsible for inspecting buildings and the surrounding property for signs of insects, rodents and other pests. They determine which treatment is best and use the proper baits or traps to remove them. Pest control workers also create barriers to prevent insects and rodents from re-entering. Pest control workers must also have the physical stamina to be on their feet for long periods of time, deal with uncomfortable heat or cold when necessary and have excellent bookkeeping skills. Pest control workers must know how to mix, apply and store different pesticides pertaining to the situation at hand. Pest control workers remove unwanted pests, such as roaches, rats, ants, bedbugs, mosquitoes, ticks, and termites that infest buildings and surrounding areas, examining the buildings for signs of infestation. Deciding on the type of treatment which is required to get rid of pests. Calculating the dimensions of the area which needs to be treated.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $22.00 per hour

- High school or equivalent (Required)
Experience:
- Pest control: 1 year (Preferred)
- Customer Service: 2 years (Preferred)
License/Certification:
