What are the responsibilities and job description for the Patient Service Representative position at Dynamic Physical Therapy?
Looking for a full time front desk patient liaison. Office experience preferably in the medical field is a plus. Must be able to multi-task while providing excellent customer service. Good attitude and ability to keep a smile in a fast paced environment is a must.
Purpose: To ensure patients are greeted promptly and checked in for their visit. Scheduled in a way that promotes organized and designated treatment times while promoting clinic efficiency which include educating patients on our cancellation/no show policy
Skills and abilities required: Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written; Computer savvy; Good with people, organized and able to follow through and complete tasks; Team player; Stays calm under pressure; Attention to detail; Fast Learner ;Good Phone Skills ;Upbeat with a positive attitude.
Duties and responsibilities: Answer phones and route calls, handle messages greet and check in patients, collect patient co-pays, coordinate patient arrival and treatment, ensure patient compliance to schedule, schedule patient appointments (Freq /Compliance Procedure) educate patients on clinic policies, Supply Transactions (Sell/Log), prepares patient promotional items for distribution, daily stat entry at end of the day, transmittal and follow up of physician correspondence, filing. Verify and review insurance plan with patients. Oversee all patient intake documents and procedures.'
