What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dental Receptionist position at Dyras Dental?

Our busy practice, located in downtown Lansing is focused on providing our patients the highest level of dental care and exceptional customer service. We are looking for the right person to complete our team of dental professionals as a Dental Receptionist/Scheduling Coordinator. Our ideal candidate will have a warm personality, be detail-oriented, have excellent communication skills, and have the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast paced environment. Previous dental office experience is preferred, but a great attitude and a strong work ethic are our priorities. Experience with Dentrix software a plus, but will train the right person. COVID-19 considerations:
All staff and patients required to wear masks and temperatures taken. Patients call in upon arrival and wait in cars until we are ready for them to be seated. Air purifiers in each operatory. High vacuum suction.
Education:
- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Experience:
- Medical receptionist: 1 year (Preferred)
