Term: 1099 with option to convert FT
Location: NYC (remote with 2-3 days in the office per week)

We are looking for a highly motivated Business Development Manager located in New York City, NY. Reporting to the COO, the Business Development Manager will be a key addition to create our sales department as we continue to scale globally. We are looking for highly motivated individuals with prior agency, media production or brand-direct sales experience who are passionate about hunting for new business along with cultivating existing relationships.
Because of Dysturb's unique offering, our services are attractive to a wide variety of industries. Target clients that we've worked with in the past and hope to grow are in advertising, creative, media, strategy, brand and social media agencies, experiential and event agencies, CPG brands, luxury, sport, entertainment brands, technology companies, global hospitality and travel organizations, public, local and international institutions, transportation hubs, conference centers, real estate developers, state development agencies.

- Engaging with new business partners across every vertical of industry including
Fortune 500 and Global NGOs, Technology and Life Sciences
- Helping drive the growth of Dysturb by finding and qualifying new leads
- Conduct market research analysis (competitor, landscape, audience, social listening)
- Leveraging industry network to build new client relationships and develop valuable revenue opportunities along with scaling existing business
- Providing clients with creative consultation and introductory content strategy that inspire business development and commercial opportunities
- Your ability to effectively communicate Dysturb’s value proposition
- Helping clients develop strategies and content that continues to reflect cutting-edge trends
- Meeting or exceeding monthly and quarterly sales targets
- Being motivated to work for a company that fosters social impact
Requirements:
- 5 years of experience in B2B sales / account executive in advertising, communication agency, content production, and/or media industries
- Rolodex of contacts at large brands & agencies
- Strong customer service and relationship building skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to cold call with assertive, positive and persistent style
- Experience with Sales CRM & Pipeline Management Software
- Familiar with Google Workspace/Drive and Slack
- Ability to work independently
- Exercising great time management, organizational skills, and flexibility
- Spanish and French languages are a plus
