BARBACK POSITION - KOKO BY BAKAN
Entry Level Position
Join our dynamic team at Koko by Bakan! We're seeking energetic and reliable individuals for the position of Barback. This is an excellent opportunity to start your career in the hospitality industry and learn the fundamentals of bar operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Keep bar stations stocked with supplies, ice, glassware, and garnishes
- Wash and sanitize glassware, ensuring proper cleanliness standards
- Maintain cleanliness of bar area, including wiping down surfaces and equipment
- Assist bartenders during peak service periods
- Transport and stock beverages, including kegs and cases
- Empty trash and recycling bins
- Change beer kegs as needed
- Maintain organized storage areas
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to stand and walk throughout entire shift
- Capable of frequent bending, reaching, and repetitive movements
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
Requirements:
- Must be 18 years or older
- Flexible availability including lunch and dinner shifts
- Available to work weekends and holidays
- Strong work ethic and reliable attendance
- Team-oriented mindset
- Good communication skills
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure
