Job Description:
This position is a full-time quality engineering position at the Da Vinci site of DZYNE Technologies, Incorporated. The Quality Assurance team focuses on the development, implementation, and operation of the quality management system and its supporting processes. This team has the responsibility to plan, implement, coordinate, execute, analyze, and control documented information of the quality management system, and to communicate and implement necessary improvements to the system and its operational procedures.
The Quality Analyst will be responsible for the analysis of key process indicators of the quality management system, and their relationship with the quality management system procedures, defined processes, and other quality initiatives. The candidate must work well with management, technicians, and multidisciplinary engineers to affect the implementation of the assembly line.
Essential Functions:
- Maintain key process indicators on significant and supporting processes,
- Support Configuration Management
- Support Document Change Process
- Manage MRB Inventory
- Interacts with management, engineering, technicians and quality inspectors for implementation and sustainment of QMS requirements
- Interface effectively with management, engineering teammates, and other personnel.
- Work closely with technicians to develop first articles and solve issues on the production line.
- Proven teamwork and interpersonal skills with the ability to advocate for positive change and culture.
- Possess strong verbal and written communications skills.
- Ability to create and follow standard processes and clearly document results.
- Ability to be a self-starter with limited requirements.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proficiency with auditing techniques (as auditee and auditor).
- Experience with statistical process control.
- Experience with quality management systems.
- Experience with training technicians and other inspection staff.
- Experience with advanced methodologies for Root Cause and Corrective Action
- Experience with Failure Mode and Effects Analysis.
- Experience with Control Plans
- Experience with AS9100 D quality systems, their implementation and sustainment
- Experience with Nadcap for special processes
- Excellent conceptual, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to create technical documents.
Typical Education/Experience:
- Engineering Degree and/or equivalent work experience in aerospace manufacturing environments
Physical Requirements:
- This position is subject to both inside and outside environmental conditions.
- This position may require the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Security Clearance Prerequisites:
- US Citizenship Required
- Must be eligible for a DOD Security Clearance
