The candidate selected will be responsible for providing process, analytical, decision and project support for Reference Data technology operations. This includes gathering relevant information, conducting in-depth analysis, making recommendations that drive improvements in Ref Data processes, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives. This role also develops and manages operational reporting activities, produces and develops metrics, and builds supporting technological processes and presentations. Also included in the scope are processes that impact interfaces and linkages to other systems and tools that interact with a centralized database across multiple environments.
- Complex data driven assignments.
- Advance level of Data Analysis, preferably in reference data domain.
- Reverse engineer a given platform.
- Manage multiple initiatives involving complex data analysis
- Id, highlight conflicts, potential risks, compatibility
- Specifications for end-to-end Business processes.
- MUST HAVE: Unix, Advanced level of SQL and MS Excel, working with Java/Angular framework-based applications.
- Waterfall and Agile methodologies. Scrum and Kanban are a must.
- DESIRED: Snowflake, Alteryx, AWS experience.
The day-to-day responsibilities:
- Support development, delivery and maintenance of Reference Data suite of applications.
- Work closely with Java/Unix Developers, Middleware, DBA, Release Management and Environment management teams.
- Provide process support, work closely with internal stakeholders from the Front Office, Middle Office, Back Office, Compliance and KYC teams on Reference Data matters.
- Collaborate, meet and communicate effectively with Data Quality Operations and IT teams to identify potential issues proactively.
- Provide Subject Matter Expertise on functional and technical aspects of Reference Data applications and feeds.
- Bring strong data analytical and statistical skills to triage complex reference data production issues and move forward with feasible solutions with very minimal supervision.
- Produce relevant and useful analytics to help drive decision making, achieve group objectives for operational reports, monthly metrics and system reconciliation reports.
- Participate in System Testing activities including but not limited to DEV, QA, SIT, UAT and regression activities.
- Support the execution of assigned multiple projects and deliverables concurrently.
Skills you need to get the role:
- Prior experience with complex data driven assignments.
- Advance level of Data Analysis, preferably in reference data domain.
- Ability to reverse engineer to shape up current and future states of a given platform.
- Be able to manage multiple initiatives involving complex data analysis simultaneously.
- Identify, highlight conflicts, potential risks, compatibility for a set of Business Cases and/or framework.
- Elicit clear, concise and complete specifications for end-to-end Business processes.
Must Have:
- Unix, Advanced level of SQL and MS Excel, working with Java/Angular framework-based applications.
- Strong understanding of Waterfall and Agile methodologies. Scrum and Kanban are must.
- Prior experience with JIRA is desired. Snowflake, Alteryx, AWS experience desired.
- Able to understand Test Vs Production environments, conduct multiple, complex UAT cycles.
- Requirement elicitation, documentation, Use case and test case derivations.
- Ability to Communicate effectively.
