The Bedminster Group is seeking an Associate Financial Advisor for our fee-based financial planning and investment advisory firm in Bluffton, SC. The Associate Financial Advisor provides technical financial planning and investment management work to the Lead Advisor and works directly with clients on executing financial plans. This is a professional supporting position in a client-focused environment and requires a basic knowledge of financial planning. The position is designed to provide the right candidate a career path leading to the position of Lead Advisor.
Salary & Benefits:
Salary range for this position will be $55-65K
10 days PTO plus company holidays

Responsibilities:
Provide client relationship support through managing/gathering/analyzing client data, helping prepare preliminary financial plans and other client deliverables, working with clients to resolve issues and other practice management tasks as needed
Attend, document and participate in client meetings and follow-up on meeting action items. Delegate non-advisory follow up work to the client service specialist or other operations team member
Support client relationships by maintaining the CRM (Redtail) and responding to client requests in a professional manner continually aspiring to deliver excellent client service
Assist with preparing recommendations on client investments, including the creation of investment policy statements and portfolio allocation reports
Monitor client portfolios to ensure they are aligned with the individual financial plans
Make trades for firm clients with direction from senior advisor
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required in business administration, finance, accounting or related field
Ability to obtain FINRA Series 63&65 licenses
Familiarization with financial concepts, investment products, portfolio analysis, goal setting and cash flow
Desire to learn more about the industry to better serve clients
You must have the ability to speak face-to-face with clients regarding financial planning issues.

Ability to manage your own workload – we do NOT do “over the shoulder” management, we expect you to prioritize your tasks and execute them in a timely manner
Qualified candidates will start the process by having a 15-30 minute phone interview conducted by our consultant who is the hiring manager for this position. If there is ground to move forward, you will be required to fill out a Career History Form and if you are selected to advance in the process, you will meet with the firm. Qualified candidates will be asked to take assessments.
