Immediate position available in Vincent AL and the Southeast.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Desired Qualifications:
- 4-Year degree in related field or 3 - 10 years of related experience
- Experience in the install groundwater and surface water instrumentation systems in and around dams, levees and CCR sites for the collection of real time data collection/performance monitoring
- Instrumentation and maintenance will include
- inclinometers, water quality equipment (pH,ORP, DO, turbidity, conductivity), portable solar battery charging stations and cellular and satellite communication systems
- Experience in executing field investigations utilizing various drilling methods and resources
- Experience with soil and rock logging, monitoring well construction, groundwater monitoring, and field data reporting
- Knowledge of environmental sampling and testing methods
Additional Notes:
- Typical Worker, Geologist work week is 4, 10 hour days (Monday - Thursday) with some 10 day shifts.
- Extensive travel throughout the southeastern United States.
- The Worker will be reimbursed for lodging and meals associated with work related travel and overnight stays.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $30.00 - $42.50 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
