Area Sales Coordinator

Fast Lane, in partnership with EBlock, is looking for Area Sales Coordinators throughout Michigan. Fast Lane is the fastest growing full-service physical auction in the Midwest. EBlock is a rapidly growing technology company with digital auctions through the US and Canada. Role Summary:
The Area Sales Coordinator establishes, develops, and nurtures business relationships with current and prospective customers within their assigned territory. As an Area Sales Coordinator you will be directly responsible for building dealer consignment, increasing buyer attendance, hitting sales targets, and launching consignment on the platform. What You Will Do:

• Use a relationship-based approach to assist customers through their auction needs, demonstrating how auto services can reduce their costs and enhance their business.
• Complete vehicle condition reports at our customer’s dealerships, correctly identifying any damage on the interior and exterior of the vehicles as well as
  noting any missing components and/or mechanical issues present.
• Conduct walk-around inspections and take multiple photos of each vehicle to capture damage and help provide a clear assessment of the overall condition of the car.
• Prepare support documentation related to vehicle condition including vehicle identification data, condition description, photographs, etc.
• Overnight travel within their assigned geographic territory may be required up to5% of the time.
• Knowledge of engine performance, transmission operation, brakes & driving issues.
• Diagnostic Skills; Engine noises, trans shifting & differential noise.
• Maintain current knowledge, adhere to work instructions/procedures regarding inspections/documentation.
• Follow all applicable safety and health related procedures.

What You Will Need:

• Have 3 years of progressive customer-focused/relationship-based sales experience.
• Must have a valid driver’s license, a clean driving record, and your own vehicle.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities is a must.
• Must be detail oriented.
• Computer Skills: Basic PC skills, Typing/Data Entry, Internet, and MS Office.
• Ability to drive and work in adverse weather conditions.
  
• Previous auto auction experience, automotive body and mechanical work preferred.
