Job Overview

The Marketing Associate, Social/Digital Media is responsible for assisting with Rogue’s digital marketing communications including social media, paid media, SEO/SEM, website management, email marketing and overall content development and planning (blog, social, email etc.).

The position is the expert on all things social media and leverages the Rogue brand to create quality content. The role is focused on building brand awareness, engagement, community and growth through content, social media, and digital marketing, including developing and managing website, initiating new strategies, potential new support models/channels, and new technologies.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist with the execution and evolution of our digital marketing and social media strategy.
  • Define and maintain the annual marketing editorial and content calendar across all of our social channels and identify key promotional opportunities throughout the year.
  • Manage social media marketing campaigns and day-to-day activities including:
    • Develop relevant content topics to reach the company’s target and new customers.
    • Monitor, listen, engage and respond to users while cultivating leads and sales.
    • Oversee design of web, social platforms and other relevant digital platforms.
    • Design, create and manage promotions and social ad campaigns.
  • Manage Rogue.com website strategy and content. Collaborate with external agency to plan, execute, and measure conversion tests and optimize user experience.
  • Manage efforts in building online reviews and reputation. Monitor online reviews and respond to each review.
  • Analyze key metrics and tweak strategy as needed.
  • Support Manager, PR & Consumer Engagement? in developing and expanding influencer outreach efforts and aligning digital marketing plans with PR strategy.
  • Compile reports for management showing results (ROI)
  • Become an engaged advocate for the company in social media spaces, engaging in dialogues and answering questions where appropriate. Cultivate loyalty and brand advocacy through personalized engagement with current and prospective consumers.
  • Demonstrate ability to map out a comprehensive marketing plan. Drive strategies that are proven by testing and metrics.
  • Develop organizational elements in order to implement a proactive process for capturing happy, loyal customer online reviews.
  • Monitor trends in social media tools, applications, channels, design and strategy.
  • Monitor effective benchmarks (Best Practices) for measuring the impact of social media campaigns. Analyze, review, and report on effectiveness of campaigns in an effort to maximize results.
  • Attract new users by developing deliberate content marketing, content development and content distribution strategies.
  • Grow and segment email subscriber list and develop calendar of ongoing content to support overall brand marketing strategies.
  • Compile and apply to awards to showcase Rogue achievements.
  • Assist with event planning, exposure and documentation.

Minimum Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree

Experience:

  • 2 years of strong experience in digital marketing communications: social & digital media, content generation, website analytics tools (Google Analytics), email marketing, website CMS and paid media.

Required skills:

  • Strong analytical skills, data driven thinking & highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage and inform.
  • Digitally savvy and up to date with latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement.
  • Experience managing budgets.
  • Creative thinker, scrappy self-starter, able to work both independently and with cross-functional teams.
  • Quick study, flexible and willing to handle a fast paced, ever changing work environment.
  • Excellent organizational skills who can multi-task and coordinate multiple projects without losing focus or missing a beat.
  • A creative and analytical mindset that’s always churning with actionable ideas that help drive revenue and return on ad spend, improve workflow, enhance our paid social presence and achieve new customer acquisition goals.
  • Must fit well into the company culture and work effectively across teams inside and outside of the organization.
  • Proactive and strategic thinker with the ability to dissect problems and identify solutions.
  • Excellent communication (Written/Verbal) and presentation skills.
  • Digital design experience/skills (i.e. Adobe Creative Suite).
