We are looking for a Director of Talent Acquisition that will continue to build and lead our recruiting efforts at E-Space. This role will have the opportunity to continue to level up our recruiting function, source and hire the most dedicated and talented engineers in the industry, build and lead a robust recruiting team, and consult and guide leaders across the business in their hiring efforts.
- Build the recruiting function for E-Space, and create an iteration plan so that we can calibrate to the exact needs of the business.
- Architect our recruiting strategy, from first initial contact, to onboarding handoff to the people team and hiring manager.
- Establish a robust strategy for filling the top of the candidate pipeline, ensuring we have a robust multi-channel strategy that pulls the best talent from the market and partners into the pipeline.
- Advise leaders on interviewing and hiring strategies, acting as a trusted advisor to help them hire the best candidates efficiently and effectively.
- Ensure the quality of candidates is to the highest standards.
- Work as a 'player-coach' for the team, managing a list of niche technical roles, while simultaneously coaching recruiters and hiring team members on best practice.
- Proven work experience as a Talent Acquisition Director or similar role, as both a hands-on recruiter and functional lead.
- Demonstrable experience managing full-cycle recruiting and employer branding initiatives
- Solid understanding of sourcing techniques and tools (e.g. social, community-based, outbound)
- Hands-on experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATSs) and HR databases
- Good team-management abilities
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to foster long-term relationships (with internal teams, external partners and candidates)
- BSc/MSc in Human Resources Management or relevant field
- Experience in the aerospace, satellite, defense, or other heavily technical industries
- Previous experience working in a start-up / fast scaling environment.
- Familiarity with international recruiting, particularly in navigating the intricacies of international employment and/or contractor laws and regulations
- Strong intellectual curiosity and commitment to learning
