  • Answers employee questions about human resources policies and procedures, and refers to specialist as needed.
  • Coordinates new hire orientation, HR events, benefits open enrollment and company-wide meetings.
  • Responsible for onboarding all employees and conducting orientations.
  • Administers and maintains HR activities and programs; such as staffing, compensation, benefits, training and safety.
  • Maintain/update employee files, compensation data, organizational charts, attendance data, vacation/sick/personal accruals, and other employment related documents.
  • Participate in other cross-functional projects/initiatives.
  • Locate and identify candidates through job boards, social media, user-groups, candidate referrals, and networking.
  • Build pool of candidates and develop/create cost effective sourcing and resource planning strategies.
  • Experience in various search/sourcing methods, including LinkedIn, Indeed, Dice, and other job boards.
  • Engage in hiring discussions with managers and rate negotiations with candidates.

 

Job Requirements:

· 3 years experience in HR and/or Recruiting

· Able to work in US and CAD timings.

· Bachelor’s Degree in HR/Recruiting or Tech related field preferred.

· Demonstrated ability in developing initial contacts by phone.

· Prospecting skills (fearless on the phone).

· Creative problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment.

· Strong communication (verbal and written).

· Familiarity with applicant tracking system.

· Willing to work in professional environment and being prepared to be on video calls as needed.

· Strong decision-making skills and ready to operate from day 1 with minimal guidance.

***The ideal candidate will have a degree in Human Resources or related degree, HR experience in the HRIS industry, working knowledge of the tasks noted above, proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel and MS Outlook) and demonstrated ability to multi-task and independently meet deadlines.
