EAC seeks an experienced scrum master to join a program management team that builds custom software for clients. At EAC, we build innovative solutions to help our clients design, manufacture, connect to, and service their products. As a scrum master, you will frequently use the scrum process to lead a project team and build custom software iteratively to meet the needs of a client. As the leader of the project, you will deliver projects using a sprint-based iterative approach, use epics and user stories to document requirements and voice of customer, and ensure customer success by collaborating internally with project staff, program management, delivery management, and sales management teams.

Job Functions:

• Identify goals and requirements for internal and customer-facing projects.
• Serve as project lead for multiple client projects and internal projects.
• Identify and document client goals and requirements using epics and user stories.
• Manage delivery of work using scrum process and Azure DevOps.
• Be the primary point of contact to clients on project status regarding project completion, schedule, and cost.
• Lead sprint planning and sprint review meetings with clients and project teams.
• Manage project changes effectively by leveraging scrum process, project backlogs, and sprint backlogs relative to budgeted time and schedule.
• Manage acceptance of project deliverables through demonstration and testing of user stories, followed by formal acceptance sign-off with clients.
• Collaborate with solution delivery managers on service agreements, statements of work, and change orders.
• Provide support to customer success, program management, delivery, and sales teams.

Education and Experience

REQUIRED:

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology or equivalent
• 5 years relevant experience in a similar role

PREFERRED:

• 10 years relevant experience in a similar role

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Knowledge, skills and abilities which may be representative, but not all-inclusive of those commonly associated with the position.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• Experience with custom software development.
• Experience leading scrum-based projects for various clients.
• Experience managing multiple projects concurrently.
• Ability to work collaboratively on cross-functional teams.
• Ability to set commitments with customers, prioritize work, and exceed expectations.
• Ability to work remotely from a home office.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to present technical information in a clear and concise manner to a variety of audiences.
• Excellent customer service acumen and interpersonal engagement.
• Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and Project.

PREFERRED SKILLS:

• ScrumMaster certification.
• PMP or CSM Certification
• Experience in assisting and acting on behalf of scrum product owners.
• Experience writing user stories as expressions of client requirements.
• Azure DevOps, Jira DevOps, or equivalent.
