Summary
EAC seeks an experienced solution architect to join a team that builds Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) applications with PTC ThingWorx. At EAC, we build innovative IIoT solutions to connect products and processes using modern cloud-based technologies and architecture. As a solution architect, you will design and build applications to remotely monitor and control connected products and systems. You will frequently work on a cross-functional team to identify goals and requirements, define solution approaches, and lead the team to build great applications. Job functions
- Identify goals and requirements for internal and customer-facing projects.
- Design connected product and connected operations strategies and solutions.
- Design IoT connected solution architecture including hardware and software.
- Lead customer projects and project teams.
- Support to sales and business development teams.
- Manage delivery of work using scrum and Azure DevOps.
- Build IIoT applications using a hybrid cloud stack including ThingWorx, Javascript, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Azure IoT.
- Provide technical leadership to colleagues and customers.
Education and experience
REQUIRED:
- Bachelor degree in a computer science, computer engineering, or information technology.
- 5 years relevant experience in a similar role.
- Full stack development with ThingWorx, Kepware, Javascript, and any back-end.
PREFERRED:
- 10 years relevant experience.

- Expertise in IoT connected solutions including hardware, software, networking, and data management.
- Experience in user interface (UX/UI) design and implementation.
- Product experience with ThingWorx.
PREFERRED SKILLS:
- 10 years relevant experience in a similar role.
- IoT concepts, including microprocessors, sensors, connectivity, messaging, data visualization, and analytics.
- REST, Javascript, Azure IoT services, SQL (PostgreSQL, SQL Server), or NoSQL (MongoDB, Cosmos DB).
- UX/UI concepts, wireframing, prototyping, Ant Design.
- Single-page applications (SPA), progressive web applications (PWA), serverless architecture.
- Source code management, Git, Azure Pipelines, and CI/CD.
- Scrum-based project delivery, writing user stories, and using Azure DevOps.
