Eagle LNG Partners requires a Maintenance Technician to join the team at our Maxville facilities. The ideal candidate would be prepared to travel and able to work alone, with minimal supervision. They must be an open, honest team player, willing to work with other trades.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Learn and qualify as an LNG operator, in addition to electrical and mechanical technician.
  • Maintain and perform minor configuration changes to PLC control systems, mechanical systems, electrical systems.
  • Maintain instrumentation, electrical, and mechanical equipment in accordance with manufacturers recommendations, internal preventative maintenance program and applicable regulatory code requirements.
  • Maintain ISO containers up to applicable code standards, coordinating loading, unloading and maintenance.
  • Travel to multiple locations inside and outside US, supporting maintenance or operations functions.
  • Assist operations with plant and loading terminal optimization and troubleshooting.
  • Provide technical support on new projects and designs.
  • Assist with installation, commissioning, start-up and maintenance of new equipment.
  • Work with, coordinate and supervise contract maintenance personnel as required.
  • Participate in review process for establishing PM intervals for facility equipment.
  • Assist in identifying cause of failure and make appropriate recommendations or upgrades.
  • Provide input into maintenance/project planning and follow through with execution of plan.
  • Troubleshoot process and equipment problems over the phone and in person.
  • Maintaining daily, weekly and monthly reports on repair orders and repaired items.
  • Respond to afterhours maintenance/operations support calls.

 

Requirements:

  • Experience with electrical, mechanical, or instrument discipline.
  • 3+ years in electrical, mechanical, or instrument field.
  • Exhibit excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Must possess a driver’s license
  • Willing and able to travel to other locations, inside and outside USA
  • Possess good troubleshooting skills for both instrumentation and control systems, previous configuration and programming experiences would be an asset

 

Preferred:

  • Previous experience with computerized maintenance management software systems
  • Ability to read, understand as built electrical and P&ID drawings
  • Preference will be given to: Allen Bradley PLC, and HMI Experience
