What are the responsibilities and job description for the IT Help Desk Specialist position at EAPC?
We have an exciting opportunity for a candidate with a background in information technology (IT) who is eager to start or advance their career with an award-winning, full-service design and consulting firm! We are seeking a talented IT Help Desk Specialist to join our IT Department.
As an IT Help Desk Specialist at EAPC, you will:
- Respond to staff technology issues (hardware and software) through tickets, email, phone, and instant messaging by providing technical assistance or escalating the concern
- Diagnose system errors/problems and offer technical assistance to resolve
- Build and implement new workstations for new or existing staff
- Troubleshoot network issues and computer problems and work to resolve
- Document changes to network, or infrastructure of IT equipment
- Install software work or change settings to resolve issues
- Remote access employee computer to assist with problems
- Perform other IT related duties as assigned
To join us, you should have:
- HS diploma or GED, Associates Degree in information technology or related field preferred
- Experience working in an IT role a plus
- Service focused with desire to position employee for success
- Experience or knowledge of requirements to maintain security, integrity, and confidentiality of information
- Ability to work at part of a team located in different office locations
- Excellent communication and follow through skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to occasionally travel to other office locations
- Ability to critically-think about solutions
- Must possess valid driver’s license
- Must be eligible to work in the US without visa sponsorship
The position will report directly to the Director of IT and work with IT needs across the firm to help position our employees for success.
