Quality Inspector

Earnest is looking to add a Quality Inspector to our EMC team. This team is on the precipice of exciting change and growth! This is a wonderful opportunity for someone who wants to come in and make their mark on our Quality department and capabilities.

Hourly rate: $24-$27.00

Availability to work 40 hours a week on our 8:00am – 4:30pm schedule.

Onsite location: 1250 Linda St, Rocky River, OH 44116 (15 minutes from Cleveland, OH).

What you’ll do (job responsibilities):

• Conduct thorough inspections and tests on products to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
• Manage and maintain gauges and measurement equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability.
• Perform calibrations on equipment according to established procedures and schedules.
• Conduct first and final piece inspections to verify product integrity and adherence to specifications.
• Lead efforts to restructure our inspection area, identifying and implementing improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and safety.
• Utilize experience in blueprint reading to interpret engineering drawings and specifications accurately.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address quality issues, implement corrective actions, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Document inspection results, deviations, and corrective actions in accordance with established procedures and quality management systems.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and company policies.
• Help facilitate process audits and annual ISO audits partnering with our internal Quality Systems team.

What you’ll bring (experience required):

• 5-10 years' experience with a manufacturing organization.
• Ability to function well in a high-paced environment, comfortable with ambiguity, and enjoy an environment of active growth and change.
• Experiencing in process improvement.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics and manuals
• Familiarity with ISO9001 (Preferred)
• Industrial fastener experience (preferred)
• Experience working with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (preferred)
