What are the responsibilities and job description for the Foreman position at Earth Systems LLC?
The Environmental Foreman is a working foreman responsible for providing field supervision over crews involved in soil remediation, facility demolition, reclamation, pit closure, and additional heavy equipment operations. This is a working supervisor position and thus requires the foreman to have equivalent knowledge and the ability to perform the same activities as those being supervised. Both mental and physical labor is a part of this job. Working conditions could be indoor or outdoor and the job may be subject to extreme weather conditions. Some light to moderate travel is possible.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide leadership and direction necessary to manage the day-to-day activities of approximately eight work crews.
- Identify equipment requirements and have a working knowledge of managing backhoes, loaders, excavators, bulldozers, dump trucks, skid steers, etc.
- Communicate directly with Operations Managers, Project Managers, and other personnel as required.
- Ensure employees work in a safe, high-quality manner, and comply with the rules of our customers and regulatory agencies.
- Ensure work crews meet project deadlines.
- Ability to work with multiple departments to ensure efficient work scheduling and project completion dates.

Qualifications:
- 10 years of experience as a foreman or in a supervisor position.
- Preferred 5 years of oilfield experience.
- Preferred 3 years of environmental remediation experience.
- Preferred Bilingual (English/Spanish).
- Must be knowledgeable in the use of Microsoft Outlook and Word.
- Ability to work with minimal or no supervision.
- Must pass pre-employment drug and alcohol screening, as well as a background, and MVR check.
- References Required.
