What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Receiving Clerk position at East Coast Appliance?
Responsibilities:
- Receive and inspect incoming shipments
- Verify accuracy of received items against purchase orders or invoices
- Maintain accurate records of received items and inventory levels
- Assist with inventory control by conducting regular stock counts and reconciling discrepancies
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient and timely processing of shipments
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area
Experience:
- Previous experience as a Receiving Clerk or in a similar role preferred
- Familiarity with loading/unloading procedures, and shipping/receiving processes
- Knowledge of distribution center operations and stock management principles
- Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately record information
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
