East Coast Habilitation Options, Inc. (ECHO) is looking to add a full-time administrative assistant to our interdisciplinary team located in Palm Coast, FL. ECHO provides residential habilitation and behavioral services in our group homes to children and adults with developmental disabilities. Under the direction of the Human Resources Manager, the administrative assistant will assist the ECHO admin team with administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the Human Resources department and administrative offices.
Essential Functions:
Schedule interviews for hiring managers and candidates and conducts reference checks when candidates are selected.
Perform data entry, record keeping, and filing with office documents.
Maintains supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level, anticipating needed supplies, placing and expediting orders for supplies.
Process paperwork for new employees and submit employee information to the payroll mailbox.
Assist the HR Manager with annual and monthly audits of personnel files.
Update employee information to include changes in title and function as well as employee changes of addresses.
Maintaining payroll information by collating, calculating and entering data.
Updating payroll records by entering any changes to employee information or benefits such as job title changes, exemptions and saving deductions.
Prepare communications, such as memos, emails, invoices, reports and other correspondence for distribution to all ECHO employees.
Maintain the Human Resources filing system currently in place. Assist in developing new systems for future projects.
Multiple other interoffice duties as assigned by administration team members.
Minimum Requirements:
Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Powerpoint).
Highly organized, flexible, with natural problem solving ability.
Must be professional, energetic, fun-loving, and resourceful.
Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work.
Attention to detail and problem solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organizational and planning skills.
Must have a HS Diploma.
Must be able to pass a Florida Level 2 Background Check.

Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
