Responsibilities and Duties
- WHO/WHAT: Do you love serenading babies with silly ballads like “I’m a Little Tea Pot” and “Skinnamarink?” Would you consider yourself to be open-minded, discreet, and progressive? Two busy professionals are looking for an infant-experienced nanny to help them with their new bundle of joy! Mom #1 works from home in a dedicated office space, while Mom #2 has a high-profile job, which means this role requires heightened levels of privacy and prudence. You’ll work Monday to Friday, always starting at 10 am. You’ll finish at 6 pm Monday to Wednesday, and 2 pm on Thursdays and Fridays. Summers will look a little different with reduced hours, allowing for some more you-time! You and your great sense of humor will arrive ready to hold, comfort, feed, burp, change, and guide the baby to naptime. Primarily, these first-time parents want their four-month-old daughter to be safe and nurtured. Eventually, you two will head off on adventures together, visiting museums and giggling amongst the flowers at Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Gardens. Easygoing and curious, the little lady lights up when you sing to her, or shimmy ‘n shake up a dance party. During downtime, your help with some light household tasks will be appreciated. This includes the baby’s laundry, cleaning bottles, making sure diaper supplies are stocked, and pet care for the meowzer who’ll need to be fed lunch. Stability is key because -- for the right fit -- this role will extend for at least the next few years. If you think you’re the one we’re looking for then APPLY right now because Skinnamarinky dinky dink, Skinnamarinky do, we want YOU!
The Ideal Nanny Is...COMMUNICATIVE! No daily detail is too small to share as these first-time parents want to know *everything*. Nurturing and playful, there’s a gentle albeit lively energy about you. Reliable and punctual, you’re organized yet adaptable when faced with curveballs from life with a newborn. As an infant-experienced nanny, you know all the movement and visual exploration tricks to encourage optimal development. You’re also kind and loving, have a positive attitude and a progressive global view. Most importantly, you’re able to be serious when needed but aren’t afraid to get off-the-charts silly when you’re having fun. So if this sounds like you then APPLY today because we want to find you soon.
