Part-time up to 25 hours per week
Easterseals Florida is seeking a dynamic, detail-oriented, and compassionate individual for the Part-Time Vocational HealthCare Curriculum Instructor position for our Workforce Development team in Central Florida. The Vocational HealthCare Curriculum Instructor is responsible for providing in person vocational instruction, guidance, employability, and skills training in the healthcare field to individuals with disabilities.

A snapshot of what you'll do:
- Teach vocational training using Easterseals Florida Developed healthcare curriculum
- Provide vocational counseling, including identification of vocational objectives
- Provide assistance to program participants in obtaining
- Maintain a classroom environment conducive to learning and appropriate to the physical, social, and emotional development of program participants
- Manage student behavior in the classroom and in the community
- Use technologies in the teaching/learning process
- Present a positive role model for program participants
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree majoring in rehabilitation, healthcare, counseling, social work, psychology, education, or relevant field
- Current Florida Certified Nursing Assistant License
- Two years' experience teaching, nursing assistant courses preferred
- Two years work experience in home health care, or other health care settings which utilizes nursing assistant
- Current CPR and First Aid Certification
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel), and strong ability working with technology
- Experience working with persons with disabilities on job skills training self-advocacy training, or daily living skills training, as well as assisting with personal needs such as monitoring behaviors
- Ability to meet our approved driver qualifications in order to drive our vehicles, as required to drive for program related business (also must be at least 21 years old)
