The ECF DSP is responsible for overseeing the care of members and assisting members in leading self-directed lives. The position will provide direct assistance with daily living activities in the home and community. The position will coordinate the care of members to ensure services provided are properly documented and outcomes are being achieved.

Monday - Friday Need to be available between 6 AM and 6 PM. Full time hours guaranteed.
Positions available in Lebanon, Mount Juliet and Brentwood.
$12.75Per Hour with raise in 6 months!

- Uses person-centered practices in daily tasks.
- Participates in intake meetings for new member.
- Maintains open communication with program leadership to ensure pertinent information is shared timely.
- Ensures timely completion and submission of all required documentation, including daily notes and implementation strategies.
- Provides services in accordance with all funders’ requirements.
- Responsible for supporting the emotional, physical, and personal well-being of the individuals receiving support, while being attentive and energetic in reducing their risk of harm.
- Assists member to develop and maintain relationships
- Assists member to direct the course of their own lives.
- Assists member in achieving goals as outlined in service plans, and records outcomes.
- Assists member with personal hygiene, eating and other self-care needs as needed.
- Transports member following Easter Seals transportation/vehicle policies and procedures.
- Provides support to involve member in community activities.
- Serves as an advocate for members and Easter Seals.
- Works with community partners to ensure all of the member needs are met.
- Communicates with members and their families.
- Administers medications in accordance with Prospect’s med admin policy/procedures.
- Maintains a safe and positive work environment.
Position Requirements
- Minimum age 19.
- Current, valid Tennessee driver’s license with safe driving record.
- Current, valid personal automobile insurance.
Education and Training
- High school diploma or equivalent math and reading comprehension skills.
- Must complete all required training, including medication administration (provided by Prospect).
Experience
- Stable employment history.
- Knowledge of American Sign Language, a plus.
- Previous experience with individuals with developmental and/or intellectual disabilities and/or direct care support, a plus.
Skills and Competencies
- Basic computer skills.
