What are the responsibilities and job description for the LPN position at Easter Seals of TN?
Under the direction of the LPN Residential Coordinator, the LPN is responsible for service recipients’ health care management, informing the RN when problems arise, and performing nursing duties as directed under the Nurse Practice Act. Staff have some flexibility with the work schedules.
QUALIFICATIONS: • Must have excellent oral and written communication abilities, the ability to document accurately, and the ability to work with people with developmental disabilities • Maintain current LPN license for the state of Tennessee • Maintain current DIDDs required training including CPR • Ability to lift and physically manage clients 30 or more hours a week are eligible for benefits. 40 hours eligible for PTO.
