What are the responsibilities and job description for the Job Coach Lebanon position at Easter Seals?
The Job Coach’s job function is to help individuals supported maintain paid employment in integrated business settings.
This specific Job Coaching duty would support a member Mon-Fri If candidate desires more hours, additional hours are available and full-time. This position currently assists 1 member with job coaching supports. Automatic increases at 6 month and 1 year, along with annual performance pay.
• Perform the duties of Job Coach assisting service members in the development of workplace supports to assure the best possible opportunity for successful competitive employment.
• Provide on-going training and supports to service recipients in work ethics, conduct, and performance.
• Support service members in obtaining and maintaining competitive employment.
• May be responsible for transporting service recipients to and from employment sites as assigned.
Staff are key in providing what is needed to help an individual learn, keep or improve skills necessary to live in a home, providing supports based on an individual's hopes, dreams, and preferences and individuals are afforded privacy and are treated with dignity and respect, to have access to coordinated services and supports determined by the individual's unique strengths, needs and choices. Staff actively participate in all aspects of planning, implementation monitoring and evaluation of member services and supports.
MINIMUM JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
• Must be able to pass a background and drug screen test
• Must have a valid driver's license and High School Diploma
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS.
• Current CPR and/or First Aid Certification
• Current Medication Administration Certification
30 or more hours a week are eligible for benefits. 40 hours eligible for PTO. Automatic increases at 6 months & 1 year. Great benefits package including employer paid life insurance and long term disability and 70% paid health insurance.
