Job Posting for Compensation Analyst at Eastern Dental Management
The Compensation Analyst develops, designs, and administers Eastern Dental’s compensation programs, including Provider compensation, base pay, incentive pay, and performance management programs. Performs analyses of employee compensation for use in determining market competitiveness and internal equity. Performs salary data calculations and researches employee salary transactions as requested. Conducts salary surveys and makes recommendations to ensure internal and external equity is maintained. Conducts analysis and evaluation of positions to ensure wage or salary level is commensurate with job duties and responsibilities.
Conducts pay assessments of individual jobs and/or dental practice groups, using available competitive market data resources, internal equity comparisons and professional knowledge/experience.
Document results and provides cost impact analysis (projections) for any proposed compensation changes.
Develops and administers compensation structures, models, incentive programs and processes based on professional category and/or individual position, these may include value-based provider compensation, income guaranty, performance incentives, etc.
Provides advice and guidance to senior leadership regarding these structures, models, programs, and processes.
Prepares a compensation package recommendation for prospective new providers, which may include sign-on bonus, relocation reimbursement, student loan repayment and other components. Works collaboratively with Recruiting.
Ensures compliance with employment agreements regarding compensation and produces associated reports as needed.
Ensures provider compensation models and practices are effective, well understood, market competitive, compliant with applicable state and federal laws and regulations, and aligned with Eastern Dental’s objectives.
Develops and analyzes ad hoc reports related to compensation policies and practices.
Assesses and performs analysis on wage and salary data to facilitate total rewards benefits packages.
Ensures that requests for pay adjustments comply with current compensation policy.
Prepares various payroll (e.g., compensation-related data) analysis reports as needed.
May assist with audits of internal records, workers compensation, 401 (k), tax filings and related documentation.
May serve as back-up to Payroll Lead.
Provides support to Finance on special projects as needed.
Aides in additional support for the HR department.
Ensures complete confidentiality of employee information.
