Position Overview
The Sales Administrator at Eastern Quality Foods will help the sales team achieve monthly, quarterly and yearly goals. He/she will serve as a point of contact for customers with queries about product, orders and deliveries and provide support for sales representatives. He/she is goal orientated and has a deep knowledge of customer service best practices as well as exceptional organizational skills. He/she draws energy from being part of a team and contributes to high quality customer service and the achievement of sales targets.
Specific responsibilities include:
· Receive and process purchase orders, sales orders, invoicing, and inventory within customer credit limits
· Check data accuracy in orders and invoices
· Verify Orders, including customers’ personal information and payment details
· Reconcile monthly cold storage inventory
· Ensure proper documentation and backup is gathered and retained to support order and inventory processing
· Contact clients to obtain missing information or answer queries
· Liaise with the Logistics department to ensure timely deliveries
· Develop direct rapport and long-term relationships with suppliers and customers in the sales process
· Internally communicate important feedback from customers
· Monitor sales targets and report any deviations
· Stay up to date with new products and features
· Support the Sales Department with other administrative tasks if required
· After-hours support may be required on occasion
· Other related duties as required
Qualifications
· Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
· Detail oriented and able to effectively multitask
· Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
· An understanding of basic accounting principles and sales performance metrics
· A team player with high level of dedication
· Ability to work under strict deadlines
· Hands on experience with MS Office Suite
· Prior knowledge or experience with SAP preferred
