We have an immediate need for a Licensed Practical Nurse in Manchester, NH!
Easterseals residential facilities provide 24-hour support to youth ages 5-21 with neurological and or psychiatric disabilities. It is designed for males and females from ages 5 to 21 with psychological/emotional or neurological disabilities including pervasive developmental disorders, nonverbal learning disabilities, and traumatic brain injuries.
We are offering a $1,500 SIGN ON BONUS FOR THIS POSITION! (paid out over your first 6 months!)
Responsibilities:
- Provide direction and supervision to staff, acting as a liaison between medical and clinical professionals
- Responsible for the ongoing medical monitoring and quality assurance of medical care, according to Easter Seals medical policy and procedures
- Responsible for assessment and triage of clients, and the ordering and transcription of medications
- Participate in educational groups with clients and staff
- Complete all documentation, including daily nursing reports and communication to staff
Qualifications:
- Current LPN License, preferably with some experience in Psychiatric and Med/Surgical units.
- Excellent assessment, triage, communication and prioritizing skills are a must.
Hours: Monday-Friday, 9:00-5:00 or 10:00-6:00
Compensation: $29.00 per hour.
