The Clinical Manager ensures children and young adults diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) receive the specialized behavioral intervention services they need to gain the skills necessary for active participation in their communities. This role is responsible for creating and implementing individualized programs for each client and establishing and maintaining effective and empowered care teams.
The ideal candidate is a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst BCBA (must have)® with experience working with children with autism, managing teams, and familiar with parent-led ABA.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Create, implement, and supervise individualized, high-quality, clinically appropriate ABA programs for children diagnosed with ASD,
- Provide clinical supervision and work direction to treatment teams that include skills enhancement, clinical consultation, and professional development.
- Carry out clinical responsibilities and adjust staffing of treatment teams as necessary to effectively provide interventions to meet the full extent of services authorized and support families.
- Support the development of the annual Autism Services Program V2MOM (Vision, Values, Methods, Obstacles, Measures).
- Meet or exceed Autism Services Program operating targets as an individual and for supervised team.
- Adhere to the FoC network structure organizational protocols.
- Ensure clinical quality, compliance, regulatory, and funder requirements are met, and take action if they are not.
- Partner with colleagues and managers to ensure a positive customer experience for all clients through coordinated service delivery.
- Maintain necessary continuing education requirements.
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Education, Experience & Training Equivalent to:
- Master's degree, PsyD, or PhD from an accredited college or university in one of the following disciplines is required: Applied behavior analysis, early childhood education/development, early childhood special education, special education, pediatric therapy, psychology or related field.
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA®) (strongly preferred), Licensed Clinical Psychologist, MFT, MSW, with current licensure in good standing with regulatory board and strong background in ABA.
- Three years of experience implementing ABA services, preferably with people with ASD
- At least 12 units of coursework from an approved BACB course sequence or equivalent experience and demonstrated skills in ABA programming and case supervision.
- Two or more years' experience providing staff direction and development in a supervisory role.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Knowledgeable of evidence-based methodologies found to benefit children diagnosed with ASD, including ABA, Early Start Denver Model (ESDM), Treatment and Education of Autistic and related Communication-Handicapped Children (TEACCH), Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS), and Pivotal Response Training (PRT).
- Commitment to building, developing, and supporting diverse teams.
- Proficiency working with individuals with disabilities and other special needs.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) and related computer software.
- Ability to develop effective working relationships with individuals at all levels of the organization.
- Sensitive to working with an ethnically, linguistically, culturally, and economically diverse population.
- Commitment to ongoing training and development as it relates to clinical skills.
CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT
- Obtain and maintain criminal record clearance through the Department of Justice (DOJ). The People & Performance Department must analyze DOJ/FBI live scan reports in accordance with applicable Federal, State and Local laws, as well as fitness for the position.
- Travel to multiple work sites and client homes; reliable transportation needed.
- Must have a valid California Driver’s License with insurance and maintain a clean driving record.
- Must pass health screenings, obtain vaccinations, and clear TB testing based on company policies.
- Obtain and maintain clearance through the Office of Inspector General.
- Obtain and maintain CPR certificate.
- Obtain and maintain Safety Care certification.
- Obtain and maintain a National Provider Identifier (NPI).
- Proof of Covid Vaccination and subsequent boosters required.
