Summary:
This position coordinates the more complicated administrative/operational management actions for the Project Manager. The project manager is directly responsible for assisting in the coordination of all phases of a project of varying size and complexity. This position is responsible for organizing and controlling project activities and for communicating risks, opportunities and current state of project to other stakeholders.
Essential Functions:
- Prepare document distributions to subcontractors
- Attend and document project meetings
- Review and transmit submittals
- Cost code and/or verify correct codes on time sheets
- Prepare and document extra work orders
- Prepare RFIs per instructions/direction
- Compile contract close out documents
- Format Change Orders for projects/managers
- Document punch list work
- Plans management and printing
- Field Progress Forms/Field Progress Report tracking
- Complete other responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications:
- HS Diploma with a minimum of 2-3 years of related experience in managing construction projects or BS/BA degree with no prior experience is a plus
- Experience in Residential Plumbing /Mechanical projects is an advantage
- CAPM certificate is highly preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications – Intermediate level
- Understanding of Procore, Plan Grid or Blue Beam is a plus
- Dependable and responsible who can take direction and work with little supervision
- Excellent communication and group presentation skills
