Eastridge Workforce Solutions is hiring a Quality Technician to join a company that offers a one stop resource for custom rubber injection molding. Monday to Friday shifts (8am-4pm). For immediate consideration apply today.
Responsibilities:
- Support the company’s Quality Management System and Quality Control of product flow to ensure continual improvement, timely product provision, and effectiveness of the QMS.
- Assist the Quality Manager with documentation controls and daily production support.
- Review standards, policies, and procedures on a frequency to ensure company’s QMS is properly maintained.
- Ensure new/updated projects meet all requirements throughout product realization.
- Support process owners with creation and updating of Processes, Procedures, Forms, and Work Instructions.
- Support internal audit schedule, assign audits to internal auditors, review findings and schedule meetings as required
- Support with tracking, evaluating, and reporting of efficiency and effectiveness of trainings.
- Working and assisting with the ISO 9001:2015 standard (ISO 13485:2016 knowledge)
- Assist with new and/or update documents to sustain company’s QMS.
Quality Control:
- Manage incoming and internal inspection of raw material, components, and finished goods.
- Work closely with the production team to provide daily production support.
- Provide metrology needs while utilizing precision measuring equipment such as Vision System (CMM), Optical comparator, and precision hand tools (i.e., micrometer, calipers, Pi tape, thickness gage, and drop gauges).
- Support with customers’ and suppliers’ CAPA.
- Manage (NCR) and (RMA) processes.
- Manage the calibration system, including scheduling and record keeping.
- Assist with internal audits of processes and product per defined frequencies.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 5 years working in the Quality Assurance, Quality Control, or similar position in a manufacturing atmosphere.
- Strong computer skills with experience working with ERP systems (IQMS a plus).
- Must be proficient in standard MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook….)
- Knowledge of Quality Core Tools to support the Engineering team with PPAP preparation and submission.
- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skill, including collaboration with team members
- Knowledge of basic High School Math
- Experience with blueprints and training with GD&T.
