We’re hiring a full-time associate veterinarian looking to join a progressive, companion animal veterinary hospital in Spartanburg, SC! This position would be a great opportunity for a new graduate looking for mentorship, as well as an experienced veterinarian looking to grow their clientele within our practice!
We are very team oriented and value transparent communication. With 3 doctors and two sister hospitals, veterinarians have 10 peers to mentor and discuss cases with. We are open to visitors and externships to ensure you feel right at home.
We see a wide variety of surgical and medical cases, and can handle these with a comprehensive, computerized in-house diagnostic laboratory, dual surgery suites and a veterinary pharmacy. We are well equipped with in-house lab equipment, including ultrasound, electrocautery, digital radiology, digital microscope and can provide dental capability.
Being a privately-owned practice gives our associates more flexibility and autonomy to provide care as they see fit, something often not found in corporate practices. This means more input from you that’s valued.

SUMMARY OF JOB PURPOSE AND FUNCTION: The Associate Veterinarian will be responsible for general small animal veterinary medicine. This includes performing small animal surgery, preventative health care, pet dental care, vaccinations and orthopedic services.
Our clinic is open Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. - 7 p.m. In this job position, you are expected to work four days/week with two of those being full days. We have NO weekend office hours and NO after-hours or on-call schedule. All emergencies are referred to after-hours emergency clinics.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine (DVM) from colleges of veterinary medicine
Current DEA License or obtained upon hire
Active Veterinary State License or obtained upon hire
USDA Accreditation or obtained upon hire
