Required:
All new hires and transfers are required to have BLS certification.
- Qualifications:
- Active RN license: You must hold a valid registered nurse license.
- Experience: Proven experience as an RN.
- Emergency Care Knowledge: In-depth understanding of emergency care.
- Health and Safety Guidelines: Familiarity with health and safety protocols.
- Responsibilities:
- Patient Monitoring: Assess patients’ health status and needs during the night shift.
- Symptom Interpretation: Observe and interpret patient symptoms, communicating relevant information to physicians.
- Collaboration: Work closely with physicians and nurses to create individualized care plans.
- Routine Procedures: Perform routine tasks (e.g., blood pressure measurements, administering injections) and maintain accurate patient charts.
- Medication Administration: Adjust and administer medications according to physician orders.
- Hygiene and Safety: Inspect facilities and maintain excellent hygiene and safety.
- Emergency Care: Provide immediate medical care during emergencies.
- Supervision: Train and supervise LPNs and nursing assistants.
- Compassionate Environment: Foster a supportive environment for patients and their families.
- Continuous Learning: Attend educational workshops and conferences to expand knowledge.
- Skills:
- Excellent knowledge of nursing care methods and procedures.
- In-depth knowledge of emergency care.
