This person will help set and ensure compliance with finance policy and internal control standards and act as a business partner. The candidate will perform global internal control testing for key processes as defined by Eaton financial management and policy. The candidate will help Internal Controls teams to identify & implement Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) and broader control training and best practices Eaton-wide. The candidate will work closely with internal audit, operations, and the internal control team. The candidate will provide accurate and timely reporting to senior management..

**In this function you will:**
Participate in internal control testing validations around the globe for key business processes. Perform on-site and off-site Business Operations, GFSS and Corporate control testing using internal control test plans and analytical procedures.
Track control issue status and work closely with management to ensure timely remediation of issues.
Participate in internal control training and communication over balance sheet reviews, reconciliation procedures, guest validator training and new site audit preparation.
Assist in the execution of a data analytics auditing program enhancing continuous monitoring capabilities across Eaton.
Perform centralized validation procedures covering key financial balances.
Support management of external auditor's relationship.
Complete special projects as assigned.

**Qualifications**
**Required (Basic) Qualifications:**
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance graduate, or candidate, from an accredited institution required.
No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of Beachwood, OH, Moon Twp PA, Irvine CA, Galesburg MI, Highland IL, Syracuse NY, Arden NC, Charlotte NC, Ft Worth TX, Raleigh NC, Peachtree City GA or Tualatin OR will be considered. Prior accounting or finance internship experience.
