Reporting to the Director Operations & Program Management, this person will develop and execute a Continuous Improvement Strategy for lean Operational Excellence and Industry 4.0 for the global eMobility business. Through the Eaton Business System approach, the CI Director will drive organizational focus on standardized processes and procedures that leads to improved manufacturing effectiveness in alignment with corporate and Mobility Group functional guidance as well as eMobility strategic plan targets. This person will also deliver direct guidance to the Manufacturing Operations (7 global sites), and functional support to other eMobility teams in the deployment of tools and processes that transforms the mindset and execution of the team to be more agile in serving our automotive customers.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $153749.97 - $225499.96 a year. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program. Essential Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the Continuous Improvement strategy for the eMobility division utilizing the Eaton Business System and ensuring alignment with the business strategy and automotive industry practices.
- Create a Continuous Improvement culture across Manufacturing Operations through deployment of a standardized lean management system
- Leads Industry 4.0 process across eMobility, including Strategy definition, deployment plan and performance review
- Leads the development and standardization of the eMobility Corrective Action/Problem Solving process in alignment with eMobility Global Quality Manager.
- Lead the development, implementation, and use of the Balanced Score Card (BSC), Business Operating System (BOS) and Enterprise Performance Management EPM) tools by all Manufacturing Operations and functional leaders.
- Create and execute training plans to deploy Continuous Improvement tools across the organization.
- Coordinate OpA and ELSS assessments across the business, as well as leading eMobility level initiatives for EBS pull and Rapid Improvement Events as needed while managing gap closure plans.
- Establish a formal process for standardizing best practices and lessons learned to leverage functional knowledge across the organization.
- Assist site leadership teams, division operations directors, SCM leaders, Quality leaders and other functional managers in deployment of CI tools to improve specific operational performance or customer satisfaction issues.
- Coach business leaders on Lean Management competencies
- Partners with IT Organization to establish and drive an eMobility IT & OT (operational technology) strategy while standardizing platforms when possible.
Position Criteria:
- Demonstrated ability to drive results through deployment of improvement initiatives across a large, global organization
- Working knowledge of Eaton Business System criteria and experience in deployment of the Eaton Business System, or equivalent, and supporting tools
- Expert in Lean manufacturing systems with experience in developing an improvement strategy and deployment of standardized continuous improvement processes and tools
- Significant Kaizen experience strongly preferred
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skill set with demonstrated leadership of major change initiatives
- Ability to manage multiple projects, build effective teams and motivate others
- Strong analytical skills and understanding of problem solving, process control tool and lean management tools (Six Sigma, 8D, Lean, Balanced Score Card, BOS or equivalents)
- Strong communication skills and comfortable facilitating groups and teaching at all levels of the organization. Capable of coaching peers and senior leaders on deployment of lean management systems
- Proven career path demonstrating significant accomplishments and increasing levels of responsibilities
- Up to 50% travel required
- 10 years of experience with a combination of roles in manufacturing/manufacturing leadership, engineering, program management, or supply chain
- 5 years of experience in an automotive environment
- An undergraduate degree from an accredited institution is required
- An advanced degree is preferred
