What are the responsibilities and job description for the Large Casting Finisher - 2nd Shift position at Eaton?
Eaton’s ES GEIS CHD division is currently seeking a Large Casting Finisher - 2nd Shift. The core hours are 2:00 pm to 10:30 pm. The hourly rate for this position is 23.34 per hour.

What you’ll do:
- Step-up thru programming for each catalog number, maintaining programs in computer and monitoring all hard copies of programs and special handling instructions.
- Finish grind all castings using hand tools and grinding belts.
- Utilize sand blaster to shot blast castings before shipment.
- Operate hand or fork truck to move material and castings as directed.
- Make minor repairs to castings using weld equipment filling small sand holes and cold shots, etc.
- Utilize adjustable gauges and visual inspection to check for defective parts.
- Setup and operate CNC saw.
- Review operation sheet, data programs and simple blueprints to correct any discrepancies that might occur as the result of gating and riser change in mold area.
- Perform productive maintenance activities such as minor maintenance that includes cleaning, inspection, minor lubrication and tightening loose bolts.

Exercise care to avoid intermixing of castings and alloys.
Qualifications:
Required (Basic) Qualifications:
- Minimum two (2) years’ setup and operation experience of a CNC Saw
- Minimum six (6) months of fork truck experience
