What are the responsibilities and job description for the O365 Exchange Administrator position at Eaton?
Join Eaton’s Information Technology team and help positively impact our business through leading technologies, exciting and challenging enterprise projects and new platforms. We are currently seeking a O365 Exchange Administrator to join our team. This role will be based at our Beachwood OH, Moon Township PA, Galesburg MI, Raleigh NC, or Houston TX locations.
The primary function of the O365 Lead Analyst is the planning, support and delivery of Exchange on-prem/O365 Exchange Online, OneDrive and Teams services.
In this role you will:
- Maintain the enterprise Exchange on premise environment: monitoring, patching, capacity management, etc
- Perform ongoing assessments, audits, health checks
- Maintain, install, upgrade, integrate and consolidate the existing Exchange on-prem and Office 365
- Proactively ensure the highest levels of security and availability
- Maintain operational, configuration, or other procedures and documentation
- Monitor security and system events and take appropriate action in case of incident including taking part in the off-hours monitoring rotation of the environment
- Provide expertise and guidance in Office 365 and Exchange domain to colleagues
- Provide 3rd/4th level support
- Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution
Qualifications
Basic (Minimum) Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- Minimum of 4 years of IT experience is required.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship
- No relocation assistance is provided for this role. Only candidates living within a 50 mile radius of Beachwood OH, Moon Township PA, Raleigh NC, Houston TX, or Galesburg MI will be considered.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution is preferred
- Technical expertise with Exchange 2016, O365 Exchange Online, OneDrive, TEAMS, and Active Directory
- PowerShell scripting skills
