Eaton’s Industrial Hydraulics Sector, Fluid Filtration Division is currently seeking a Product Specialist – Pharmaceutical Filtration to join our team. This is a remote position serving our East Coast customer base. Candidates must live within 50-miles of Atlanta, GA, Raleigh, NC, Charlotte, NC or Columbia, SC. 

 
Position Overview:

The Product Specialist will serve as a key member of the Filtration Sales Team and will be responsible for the sales and technical support of Eaton filtration products in the Biopharma market segment. This is a strategic position for a sales professional with experience in the pharmaceutical or fine chemical filtration industry. The Product Specialist markets and sells Eaton’s filtration products and services to obtain orders that are profitable to Eaton. The position is responsible for achieving sales objectives of filtration products, and developing, growing and maintaining relationships with Eaton employees, channel partners, consulting firms and end users.  The Product Specialist is expected to manage the assigned customer base, increase sales in the assigned geography, and provide application guidance and technical assistance to customers. 

 
In this function you will:
  • Provide consultation and sale of products and solutions for filtration applications to customers and distributors.
  • Offer technical and commercial support and negotiation with selected customers.
  • Develop sales through the acquisition of new customers.
  • Define and implement effective sales tactics/plans to grow the business and develop new market opportunities; heavily involved in product and process improvement.
  • Observe and systematically analyze markets, customers and competitors’ activities and provide input/feedback to marketing and business development.
  • Cooperate daily with Eaton Global Support Team.
  • Manage activities in the sales territory and regularly track actual sales vs plan to achieve sales and performance targets.
  • Report about customer visits, projects and the market situation on a regular basis in an effort to enhance the market insight of the organization.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, engineering, business or related degree from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in marketing or technical sales in the biopharma or fine chemical market with general knowledge of plasma fractionation.
  • Three (3) years of experience in or knowledge of filtration applications and methods.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship
  • Must have valid driver’s license with no restrictions
  • No relocation benefit is offered for this position. Only candidates that currently reside within 50-miles of Atlanta, GA, Raleigh, NC, Charlotte, NC or Columbia, SC will be considered.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master’s degree or MBA degree from an accredited university.

  • Understanding of product specifications and production processes.
  • Willingness to travel frequently
