Position Overview:
The primary function of the Quality Manager is to lead the definition, execution, and deployment of the strategic Quality Plan in conjunction with the plant leadership team This position is accountable for managing, planning, organizing, directing, and controlling a plant-wide Quality Assurance Program. Our industry leading Quality Assurance Program includes quality control, high technology quality engineering, and product testing functions to meet the quality parameters, quality specifications, and quality characteristics of design, marketing, manufacturing, and service.

In this function you will:
- Lead the development, implementation, maintenance, and improvement of the quality management system requirements throughout the organization. This will include quality system standards such as ISO 9001: 2015, EQMS (Eaton Quality Management System), customer required standards (including 3rd party standards any other applicable requirements
- Communicate to the leadership team on the performance of the quality management system and any needs for corrective actions / improvement
- Interface with customers, suppliers, partners, and internal stakeholders in both the plant and at customer locations to enhance their perception and understanding of the plant Quality systems. Facilitate customer Quality audits and inspections as appropriate to demonstrate compliance.
- Develop, implement, and manage a product warranty system that provides feedback to responsible departments and assures permanent corrective action
- Accountable to performance of QA duties and has the authority to take the necessary actions to resolve any Quality issue.
- Provide Quality leadership and support in development of new products, processes, and services (PROLaunch).
- Coordinate and manage continuous improvement activities related to Quality including 8D’s, Kaizen events, BPI’s, Six Sigma projects, and other problem-solving activities.
- Develop and maintain an appropriate departmental budget and ensure the operation of the Quality Department within budget.
- Manage Quality organization support to Supply Chain management organization relative to evaluation, selection, approval and validation of suppliers.
- Engage cross-functional teams in complete advanced quality process for new product development as well as changes to current product / processes. This includes, but not limited to, proper evaluation and inclusion of customer requirements, product and process risk evaluation & management, definition of significant and safety related characteristics, process design and development including process controls, applicable process documentation, analysis of the process execution, ongoing monitoring, inspection and testing as well as any corrective / improvement actions required.
- Evaluate organizational Quality Metrics and perform managerial reviews to evaluate results, identify trends and recommend action plans to close gaps as well as drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor degree in from an accredited institution
- Minimum two (2) years of Quality Assurance/Exposure/experience
- Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in a supervisor or leadership role
- Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in the Electrical Industry
- CQE and/or CQM certifications
- Six Sigma Black Belt or Green Belt certifications.
- ISO 9001:2015 Lead auditor certification.
Position Criteria:
- Progressive experience in manufacturing operations involving machining and mechanical assembly activities.
- Demonstrated ability to leverage cross-functional resources to support manufacturing requirements.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively lead, motivate, coach and train people in varying production disciplines to achieve improved overall performance.
