Eaton’s B-Line Division is currently seeking a Commercial Team Leader to join our team. This position is based at our Sherman, TX facility.
Position Overview:
The Team Lead in Commercial will be a working lead who directs the assignments of the team to ensure goals are met. The core hours for this role are on first shift.

In this function you will:
- Drives improvements in Safety, People, Quality, Delivery, Cost and Inventory (SQDCI).
- Assure dispatch lists are distributed to work centers daily.
- Manages Sieve board process for Enclosures/Metering and reviews action items to close gaps.
- Regular coordination with Planning group on capacity, and production issues
- Allocate associates to work in constrained areas or reallocate associates based on need.
- Manage (2) continuous improvement projects at all times.
- Work closely with Group Leaders and production support staff to resolve issues and follow-up on preventative and corrective actions.
- Assist employees within the team with technical or process issues such as inventory discrepancies, information, drawings, and procedures.
- Attend weekly LMX3 meeting, follow up with daily audit (HR/HR boards, machine inspections, quality inspections.
- Assure that the appropriate equipment and tools are provided, adequately maintained and safely operated.
- Acts in the capacity of Group Leader in the absence of the Group Leader.
- Prioritize schedules and expedite production orders as needed.
- Conduct trainings sessions covering specific areas such as on the job training, refresher training, etc.
- Confer with management, supervisors and employees to gain knowledge of work situation requiring additional training to better understand changes in policies, procedures, regulations and business initiatives.
- Assist in maintaining training records.
- Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Required (Basic) Qualifications:
- Minimum of three years’ experience in a Manufacturing environment (or similar environment).
- Committed to continuous learning and improvement.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as technical data, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to speak effectively in interpersonal situations and before groups of employees.
- Ability to communicate effectively in written and verbal format.
- Ability to function independently in a multi-task environment, as well as part of a team.
- Ability to manage multiple and conflicting priorities.
- Strong organizational, presentation, facilitation and conflict resolution skills.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Knowledge of SAP and ability to input and retrieve data.
- Ability to operate material handling equipment and specialty tools within the Value Stream.
- Able to work safely and achieve results with minimal supervision.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in lean manufacturing.
- AA degree.
- Extensive knowledge and understanding of the Enclosures/Metering product line.
Position Criteria:
- Ability to prioritize schedules and expedite production orders as needed
- Confer with management, supervisors and employees to gain knowledge of work situation requiring additional training to better understand changes in policies, procedures, regulations and business initiatives.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs occasionally to frequently (33-66%) and up to 75 lbs. occasionally by stooping, reaching, bending
- Ability to read blueprints and use simple measuring tools
- Ability to follow directions, work independently and close attention to detail
- Work as part of a team having responsibility for assembling an entire product or component of a product
- Ability to reach, grasp and manipulate
- Ability to work mandatory overtime, including Saturdays and up to 12 hours in a shift, as needed by the business
- Ability to stand for the duration of the shift (eight to twelve hours) and perform repetitious tasks
