Job Description: We are seeking an outgoing and detail-oriented individual for our Booking Agent opportunity. As an Agent, you will be responsible for booking exceptional trips for our clients, ensuring every detail is perfect. This role is ideal for travel enthusiasts who thrive on creating unforgettable experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Itinerary Planning: Research, create, and execute exceptional travel itineraries for clients
- Client Consultation: Understand clients' travel needs and preferences to design personalized trips
- Training & Certification: Complete ongoing training to earn and maintain certification for booking travel
- Vendor Webinars: Attend webinars with vendors and suppliers to gain specialization in specific destinations
- Brand Ambassadorship: Represent and promote our brand with passion and professionalism
- Team Collaboration: Work alongside other team members to provide comprehensive travel solutions
- Budget Management: Provide and review suggested budgets, planning trips within clients' financial constraints
- Promotional Activities: Create and utilize promotional materials to attract and retain clients
- Industry Updates: Stay informed about changes and trends in the tourism industry, including travel restrictions
- Booking Management: Handle all aspects of travel bookings, including flights, car rentals, hotels, cruises, and event tickets
- Client Communication: Maintain effective communication with clients before and after travel, promptly responding to inquiries
- Time Management: Efficiently manage time for researching trips and communicating with clients
- Issue Resolution: Address and resolve any issues that arise during the booking process or travel
- Software Management: Keep client information updated within our software systems
- Networking: Network with tour operators to offer clients diverse travel packages
- FAM Trips: Participate in familiarization (FAM) trips to enhance destination knowledge
- Must be at least 18 years old and authorized to work in the US
- Fluent in English with excellent communication skills (sales background is a plus)
- Possess a smartphone with internet access (laptop recommended but not required)
- Personal travel experience is highly desirable but not required
- Previous experience in customer service or hospitality is a plus but not mandatory
