The Lake City Care Center is owned by the Mayo Clinic Health System with the daily operations managed by Ebenezer. At any given time, as many as 90 people call the care center (LTC and TCU) their home. Since we opened in 1978, we’ve served thousands. The care center is connected to a Mayo clinic and hospital, so residents don't have to leave the building for a clinic appointment or emergency care if needed.
Registered Nurse:
The Registered Nurse (RN) provides for and assists in meeting the Lake City Care Center MN, TCU (transitional care unit) patients physical, emotional and psycho-social needs while adhering to facility, state and federal guidelines.
RN Schedules:
- Part-time and full-time overnights available
- Full-time evenings available
- Part-time and full-time evening/nights available
- Self scheduling. Pick your own hours!

Responsibilities/Job Description
- Monitors personal cares provided to assure consistency with each individual plan of care
- Coordinates medications and performs treatments per physician orders and facility policies
- Provides data relevant to the development of the plan of care
- RN – Assesses plan of care, resident goals and revises, modify plan of care as necessary
- Provides reports and documentation related to incidents, change of status and cares provided
Qualifications
Required:
- Current MN RN license or by start date
- AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers or Red Cross CPR for Professional Rescuers
Preferred:
- Comfortable using Microsoft windows and electronic charting systems
- Work experience in a patient support role, LPN or RN
- Good written and verbal communication skills to interact with residents, families and physicians or providers
- Ability to work with and have sensitivity to the needs of the geriatric population
Licensed Practical Nurse:
