Our partner located in the northern suburbs of Cincinnati with clients throughout the country is in search of an inside sales representative. This individual would assist the senior level sales team to personally communicate the company’s abilities to their core prospects. This would include answering incoming inquiries to qualify leads, (organizing them into different categories based on lead potential), help propose appropriate solutions, and assist the team in closing deals. You will receive full product, client service and contact management software training.

 

Our partner has been providing eCommerce web development and internet marketing services to medium-sized businesses for over 20 years. Their services include eCommerce strategy, web design, and digital marketing services, (web promotion, search engine optimization, pay-per-click, email marketing, and many other services).

 

Requirements:

  • Must be coachable - You must be open to constructive criticism and have a thirst to learn.
  • You are expected to communicate with prospective C-Level clients about how you can help shape their eCommerce strategy to grow their business locally and nationally. This means you will have strong and professional interpersonal and communications skills and be outgoing and personable.
  • You are expected to follow up sales leads in a timely manner to meet/exceed operational goals, as well as other performance metrics. A key to this will be researching and building rapport with prospects.
  • Post-training, you will be expected to maintain appropriate prospect information using our contact management software (Salesforce). This would include preparing reports of business transactions and maintaining records of all prospect activities.
  • Strong knowledge of the principles and practices of sound business communication; correct English usage, including spelling, grammar and punctuation.
  • Organizational skills and time management skills are essential.
  • Have a passion for your work, constantly wanting to improve yourself.

 

Experience in:

  • Experienced in calling prospects and organizing follow-up calls to set appointments, customer presentations, and closing sales.
  • Some level of previous sales or professional experience.
  • Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Word/Excel and Google Docs/Sheets.
  • Salesforce.com experience is a plus but not required.
  • Selling web design, advertising, and or marketing services is a plus but not required
  • Ability to understand and articulate how a business can use eCommerce and digital marketing services is a plus but not required.
  • Having basic knowledge of how an advertising/marketing agency and/or a software development firm functions is a plus but not required.

 

 

 

 

Other Information:

  • This is an inside sales position that doesn’t require any travel.
  • The primary communication channels with prospects are phone, email, live chat, and LinkedIn.
  • Position reports to senior sales personnel.
  • Remote work/work from home possible.
